As for those who haven’t seen this movie, here’s a tiny excerpt from Google (because I suck at giving summary of any story):

A prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
I LOVE this movie! I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this (sometimes with kids) since I was able to download a copy. The soundtrack is so awesome, as well. I can’t get enough of this movie. It is really something else and the good thing about it is that no one can really pinpoint why this movie really is very successful. I guess this is the epitome of everything from Disney or it could be something that everybody has missed after the reign of supernaturals like vampires, werewolves, succubus, homunculus… name it. You know that we had lived on these fantasy movies for a while due to flawless special effects and forgot the Disney for a while.
It is really a very refreshing movie for 2013 and a good one to end it. In the beginning of 2014 it began to buzz around the whole world and brings out lightheartedness in everyone. It brought back the idea of finding your “one true love” and that special “kiss” to cure the heroine’s illness.
I think the awesome matters about this movie are:
  1. The heroines are not cursed, totally, or maybe just one of them.
  2. It broke the stereotypical major rule: true love is not always curable by a kiss from a prince.
  3. There is no jealous stepmother plotting the next plan to finally kill her adopted child.
  4. The setting is very warm then cold yet warm still. Olaf is a proof of that.
  5. And lastly, who could ever reject the awesomeness of the songs in this movie?! Almost everything is unique and speaks of life and the characters’ struggles within the movie.

If you haven’t watched it yet, I strongly urge you to do so right now because you are missing so much!
